Dr. Kristen Bovee, ND – Owner
Dr. Kristen Bovee is a naturopathic physician who has served on Vancouver Island for 17 years. She is board certified in natural hormone therapy, prolotherapy and PRP, nutritional IV and chelation therapy. Kristen is a member of the BCNA and CNPBC and holds a prescribing authority license for BC.
Dr. Kristen has special interest in treating women’s hormone imbalances, osteoarthritis/pain syndromes, and food allergies. She is accepting new patients and is welcoming current patients to join her at Hydrate IV Wellness for complete naturopathic services.
Dr. Katia De Marco, ND
Katia graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario. She followed her love of plants and trees out west to BC and is now happy to call Victoria her new home. Katia believes that health is a reflection of our physical, emotional and mental well being, and that true health comes when these elements are all in balance.
Dr. De Marco works to find the root cause of your health concerns using laboratory testing, physical exams and a thorough patient history. Using herbal medicine, acupuncture, nutrition and lifestyle counselling, as well as BHRT, IV therapy and prescription pharmaceuticals when necessary, Katia aims to support the body and it’s innate ability to re-balance itself back to health. Her goal is to provide you effective yet sustainable ways to find and maintain radiant health, and she creates a safe space for you to discuss any questions, concerns, hopes, and goals that you might have on your health journey.
Katia grew up in Montreal, Quebec from an Italian family and speaks fluent French and conversational Italian. She has a special interest in brain health and TBIs, as well as women’s health and insomnia.
Laurie Moniz, RCC
Laurie is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Child and Youth Care at the University of Victoria and then continued to complete her Master’s Degree in Counselling. Laurie has many years experience counselling individuals, youth, couples and families. She has worked with various agencies including: Child and Youth Mental Health, the Ministry of Children and Families Development, Single Parent Resource Centre, Blanshard Community Centre, BC Families in Transition, Victoria Native Friendship Center, and Parent Support Services of BC.
